A benefit profile describes a benefit clearly, its inter-dependencies, its description and its value for the project.

General

A benefit profile should be prepared for each benefit. This helps to:

  • Define the extent of the improvement that the benefit will deliver
  • Ensure an appropriate person is accountable for the delivery of the benefit
  • Prioritise benefits
  • Clarify the project outputs that are needed to enable the benefit to be realised

Quantified Benefits Profile

Creating a Quantified Benefits Profile is the last step in completing the benefits management plan. This involved creating a cost profile with a month-by-month breakdown of when hard benefits will be realised.
